(Finally found my long-ago poetry, from so long ago that the poems are written long-hand or typed, and filled with the emotion of comparative youth.  Perhaps they’ll bring back memories and emotions from your past as well.)

In a Bar in Evergreen, Colorado

There was a blackboard

in the ladies’ room

on which I wrote your name

each time I visited

and then erased it carefully

with toilet paper.
