The glory of the Lord

Ever since I was little, pictures of the sun’s rays shining through the clouds have brought to mind the glory of the Lord. These photos are my humble contributions to helping you see that glory or, if it makes you feel more comfortable, the glory of nature (which to me, of course, was created by God and thus glorifies Him in its beauty.)

Beautiful photos, Janet. I always feel nearer to God when I’m outdoors. Thanks for sharing these.

    • One of the main things I like about my iPad is the amazing camera it has, although I feel a bit odd sometimes whipping it out instead of a “real” camera to take pictures. But it does a great job. One of these days, I’m going to get a digital SLR camera and start working a bit more seriously at taking pictures. I’m so glad you enjoyed these!

  2. That’s exactly what I think when I see the sun’s rays shining through the clouds – the glory of God! Thank you so much for sharing your photos! You helped add some happiness to my day. 🙂

  3. Oh, Janet, that second one takes my breath away. “The glory of the Lord”, indeed.

    • I had such fun taking these pictures. I was sitting outside at our little table with my iPad (just in case a photo op comes along) and I looked up to behold the clouds. I was snapping pictures like mad and had a difficult time deciding which ones to use. I’m so glad they spoke to you!

What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, that or the other thing.
