I haven’t posted a Grammar nazi post for a long time but when this popped up on my Facebook page, I had to post it once I’d stopped laughing.    All I can say is that this is a difference worth knowing!!!  Who says grammar doesn’t matter?  Doug, this played  perfectly in to your Friday Fictioneers story.  And for anyone who would like to know what I’m talking about and would enjoy some stellar writing, here you go…http://ironwoodwind.wordpress.com/2012/10/26/size-matters/.

  1. Dear Janet,

As promised, you delivered. Thanks for reposting Size Matters. I’m still laughing. Must be nuts.

    Aloha,

    Doug

P.S. If you don’t hear from me again, blame it on the tsunami. Headed to high ground now.

  2. Had to wait to stop laughing before I could type a comment 😀
    Yes, grammar really does matter!

I laughed out loud for this.

  4. i’m laughing out loud as I type, Janet.

    • I laughed out loud when I saw it on Facebook, especially after reading Doug’s story. It was an “I have to share this” moment! I’m a big grammar nazi, so this was right up my alley.

  5. Heeheehee… Every English teacher’s motto??

    • 🙂 I laugh every time I look at this…and that’s a good thing. Hope everyone out there is safe over these next few days!! I’ve been praying that the storm goes ocean-ward instead of inland, but if not, that the damage is minimal. We’ll see what happens.

What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, that or the other thing.
