I love that first statue. She’s like a ballerina warrior.

It’s a very nice museum. I like the way they’ve incorporated features from the past, such as stone arches, into the museum itself.
The statue at the top of the stairs at the Philadelphia Museum of Art is Diana, by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. Janet, your daughter is so lucky to be studying at PAFA and in Philadelphia–many wonderful museums, galleries and private collections. Great exposure.
I’m looking forward to going to the Barnes at some point, but you have to get tickets so far in advance that it hasn’t worked for me yet. 😦
