Bare Bones

Gnarled pear tree stands
Alone atop misty hill
Stark weathered beauty

This haiku is dedicated to Yer Pirate’s similar poem, to which this was a response: http://managuagunntoday.wordpress.com/2013/01/05/carpe-diem-special-winter-trees/. Thanks for the inspiration.

Go out this weekend and find some beauty in nature, no matter the season.  It’s all around you.
