It would. We really need to look at how we spend our days and see what we can cut out. Too often use of technology is one of those things!!

Thea, the photo is, as you may have guessed, from Provence, a beautiful place we were walking past and one that drew me in. The quote I’d stashed in my blog file and it seemed so appropriate for the beginning of the week and as I keep working on getting the house ready to put on the market.

My Sunday begins in an hour and ten minutes and Is the start of three days off. Disc golf in the morning, a visit by an old friend in the afternoon and staggering views of snow covered Mauna Kea throughout the day.

It is so pretty. I see hydrangea and what looks like bougainvillea in the foreground. Papaya in the background…I think. I see a few others I recognize but cannot recall the names at this time. The one overhanging the gate; what is that one?
Not sure what it is. I snapped this picture several years ago, when we were visiting family in Provence. There were so many beautiful little courtyards and gardens like this one and they look so peaceful.

Dee, wouldn’t it be peaceful to be sitting in that garden with a cup of tea (for me at least) and a croissant or two? Right now, I can only do that indoors since it’s a bit chilly here, but at some point, summer will some and although I don’t have a spot like this, I’ll be able to sit outside again and relax there.
Until then, let’s relax and simplify where we are!

Where are you? In Cleveland it’s cold, but not that cold, and damp. But I can see daffodils and other spring plants poking their heads out just a bit (and probably wishing they had little caps)! I wish I had the patio/garden in the photo for when it gets warm, but…
I’m in the UK, in Wales the land of song and rugby, or so the adverts would have you believe.
We usually have mild winters but in recent years we have had lots of snow and very cold spells. But we’re still
here to tell the tale …
Ahhh, Wales, a lovely place! Not too many years ago, our younger daughter and I were in Great Britain for two weeks and spent several days in Conwy, which is beautiful. (What I really want to know is whether or not there’s a ban on using too many vowels in Welsh words!!) As for the cold, global warming just ain’t as presented! This winter hasn’t been bad but the last was frigid! And Bill (my husband and author of the Zeds) played rugby for many years. They sometimes sang, too, especially at the parties. 🙂

Welsh, well, except for a few words of greeting etc. I’m so glad you enjoyed your visit. Love the image of a singing, rugby-playing Bill, I enjoy his blog, as I do yours.
It seems to be one of those languages that you should learn when growing up, but useful for Scrabble when you’re lacking vowels! The opposite is true for the Scandinavian languages, which seem to be heavy on vowels.
