Falling snow dust
floats lightly onto grass and bushes.

Brilliant winter sunshine
transmutes magic into moisture.

The earth rejoices
as I mourn the loss of beauty.

“Transmutes magic into moisture” – fantastic line there, really loved the whole piece! Well done.

  2. Bumba says:

It’s catchy. I keep re-reading it trying to see how the beauty is lost.

  3. So sad at the end but spring is on it’s way to you. New life will soon be bursting forth.

  4. I will be waiting for the return of winter with anticipation. But it a beautiful poem.

    Brilliant imagery.

I love the poem – but that first photograph just sucked me in! Did you take it?

What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, that or the other thing.
