As iI wrote to Bill – great shot of Bill and Megan. I’ll pass on the food though.
Hope your weekend is a wonderful one. It sounds great. Happy holidays.
Happy holiday to you, too, Randy. We had a wonderful afternoon and evening in NYC yesterday with Bill’s youngest sister but didn’t get back to the motel until about 1:30 am this morning so it was a short night. Who even knew 1:30 am still existed??
We ate at The Ramen Bar, where we’ve eaten before. The round balls are a sort of breading around octopus, the little sandwiches are burgers topped with pork belly and sauce, and the bowl is a ramen bowl with various goodies in it. Quite tasty!
How funny- I just visited Philly for the first time ever a week ago! It was very brief and targeted, so I didn’t get to fully explore, but it seemed just as lovely and friendly as your photos here imply. Hope you had a good time there, and a very happy holiday. 🙂
They’re looking great. I’m now on the rooms that have to be done in parts because I have to use them or go through them or can’t move all the furniture out of them–our bedroom, the dining room and the living room. Lots of work but great rewards.
Great photos, Janet–and Happy Easter to you, Bill and your daughters.
Thanks, vb, and the same to you and yours.

Lovely photos – and it looks like you found some creative food! (What is that brown ball in the second photo?) Happy Easter!

I love seeing pictures of your family! and the food. 🙂 Yum!!! Have you fermented anything yet?
I haven’t fermented any vegetables but I’m getting a starter going for sourdough bread. How are your floors coming?

Have a great day! I’m hoping to do a post soon. I need a new one, the snow is getting tiresome! 🙂
Isn’t it, though?! We finally have sun and some spring-like temperatures which I hope will stay.
We are too, but the snow around our house just doesn’t seem to want to go away. And our new bee shipment comes in a few weeks.
I’m so excited about your bees!! I know I’ll be seeing pictures of them and I can’t wait.
