If I had a nickel for every time I typed something under the influence of a malevolent writing spirit, I’d have enough to at least go out for a drink or inexpensive meal. I always notice the mistake just as I hit send, so the incorrect typo hangs in front of me, mocking me because I can’t get it back. 🙂
Have a great Friday, Catherine, and I’m glad you liked the pictures.
Beautiful play with light. In the second picture (the darker of the two), it feels like your light has created her shadow in the picture.
I’ve seen something so similar at a friend’s house. 😉
🙂 Always glad to hear that, Christopher. I’m awaiting “the rest of the story” for your trip that started as the trip from hell. I’m hoping it got better quickly!!
I love the shadows in both shots, Janet! I love the colors. Perfection. Both play very well together. Eye-pleasing! Even the bottom of the vase mirrors the print. Is this your arrangement? Thanks for the inspiration. More, please! T. (Enjoy the weekend!)
I’m pleased you liked the shots, Theadora. The vase, the arrangement and the print are mine/ours. I love that print and by a serendipitous happenstance, that vase and arrangement ended up on the nearby table. I think they complement each other beautifully.
Enjoy your weekend, too. Feel free to pack up some cocktails and fly over for some scones and tea. 🙂
I love the shadow play! Creates some mystery…
Good morning (here) and thanks. I really enjoy taking pictures of shadows.

Understandable, give character to the photos…
that print has always been one of my favotites
Mine, too. The colors in the arrangement really complement those in the picture.
Lovely. I like the contrast between the twol.
Don’t know where the l came from. Should be: two.
