Finally!! I’ve been waiting all morning to see what this week’s photo challenge is and although the time wasn’t fleeting, the challenge is. Here’s something else that was fleeting, a chalk drawing our younger daughter and a friend did near the apartment complex where
my husband was living at the time. We loved watching people’s faces when they saw it.

these are really awesome 🙂
Thanks. They did good work and they’re both quite artistic.

wow, those are very detailed drawings, very nice
Thanks. This daughter has always been about art and could out-draw us from early on!! 🙂

Your daughter is an artist! Wow, amazing drawings…
She is and her friend is very talented in music. Glad you looked than.
janet
Hahahaha…funny
I’m glad you enjoyed it!

🙂
Talented daughter.
Thanks. She’s doing some wonderful prints now.

Wow, those are awesome! I will have to show this to my kids. The younger ones love to draw but I don’t think they have ever thought about drawing an epic scene on the driveway. I love the wolf sticking out his tongue. Haha Great entry to the challenge!
Outdoor chalk is a great thing and you can save all creations by photo but rarely have to clean anything up as God takes care of it for you (unless you live where it rarely rains!) Glad you like them.

It looks like I will need to invest in some multi-colored outdoor chalk! I really can imagine my kids loving this. My little daughter would draw outside but it was usually just her name and maybe a a road and city, so this will be fun. 🙂
Chalk’s cheap and you don’t even have to have a chalkboard. It doesn’t get much better than that. Your kids will love it.

very nice pics!
Thanks! Always glad when visitors enjoy them and my blog. I’m starting to recognize lots of “faces” from the Photo Challenge.

Yes, photo challenge is a good opportunity to get to know many interesting people and their blogs.
Love the bunny 🙂
The whole thing was amazing! I’m glad you enjoyed it.

Now that is some impressive chalk art! Clearly, I gave up the hobby far too early… I’m so inspired to get back out there, chalk in hand, and mark up the whole neighborhood!
You could draw some fabulous food pictures. 🙂

i love it. very unique. when you said ‘daughter’ and ‘chalk’ for some reason i had a 2 year old or something in mind but these pictures in both scope and humour [the wolf!] show she is a lot older [or maybe a child prodigy if not!] but yeah love the photos and the angles and of course it is a great connection to the theme. thank you for sharing!
🙂 She was in her late teens when they created this. If you’d like to see a bit of what she’s doing now, her blog is here: http://dontwaittonight.wordpress.com/.
Thanks for the visit and have a great weekend.

ohmygoshwow – she is incredibly talented, you must be so proud – stunning work – thankx for sharing!
Thanks so much for visiting. We’re proud of her no matter what her work is like, as I know you know, but we think she’s talented.

Janet — Pretty nice sidewalk art your daughter and friend drew.
Lots better than Mom or Dad could do, unfortunately!! Her blog’s here if you’d like to take a look: http://dontwaittonight.wordpress.com/. She has three years of art school left, so if you want to buy anything to contribute to tuition, let me know. 🙂
Hope your Saturday’s going well. Mine started with strawberries being in at the farmer’s market, so how could it be bad?? Headed for your post right now.

The landing of the mythological creatures! Magical. I, too, would have stopped and stared. Awesome that you captured it.
So glad you enjoyed it. If you’d like to see what sort of art our daughter’s doing now, I’ve posted her blog information in a previous comment.

great chalk art
Wish I could say I did it, but at least my genes had something to do with it. 🙂

We thought they did a great job. I wonder how long it lasted.
