And you thought Bugatti just made cars. Carlo designed this coffee and tea set on display at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Would you have it in your house? I would.
A thing of beau-tea is a joy forever.

I would have it in my home…but hubby would exile it to my study :-)…loved the beau-tea of these photos and thanks for the close-ups too! π
It’s one of those things that beautiful but you have to have a (large) space for it. If you used it every day, that would be different. But it’s quite stunning.

Yes it is! π
Interesting post – I would prefer a Type 51 though π http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bugatti_Type_51
Oh, yeah, the cars!!! The Bugattis were obviously quite talented in many artistic areas as Carlo also did amazing furniture.

looks like a Gold-tea Hawn
That’s an unlikely possibili-tea, Randy. It’s a Buga-tea. π

Carlo Bugatti made fabulous furniture;, and his son Ettore went on to produce cars that made the world dribble with envy. Bugattis are still being produced on the original site – in Dorlisheim, Alsace. They used to overtake us on the motorway during their trial runs, and my boys were desperate every time π
The Cleveland Museum of Art had a special exhibit some years ago that featured some of Carlo’s furniture and it was, as you say, fabulous. And the cars? Wonderful! What fun to have seen them up close and personal, at least for a moment or two.

it is lovely Id love one
I would – but I’m afraid I could pay not even one nail of this master piece :o)
Oh wow, that is so crazy that it’s beautiful, or perhaps it’s the other way around. I love looking at super-ornate furniture like it’s in a museum- I just can’t imagine this actually existing inside someone’s home.
Its pretty, but I’d rather have the cash lol.
Good choice…and good luck! π
