It’s time once again for le Tour de France, a month of intense biking and drama. I’m an addict and purchased all-access so I can watch on my laptop as
NBC Sports isn’t part of my basic cable package.
Here are some bikes for the rest of us.

I’m an addict too – how bout that team bus stuck under the banner! (last night our time…)
Love them bikes! 😉
Hmm, that first photo looks distinctly like my bike 🙂
Brilliant gallery!
We talked about Mr. Armstrong before, so you know I am a fan of the Tour. I really don’t know anyone riding right now and my knowledge of how the peloton works is woefully little.
HOw cool!!
🙂
Hi Janet,
Great bike images!
I say (jokingly, of course) that we could have switched homes for a month with you in France for the month and myself back in North America! Whee!!
Just for the record, I know it’s hard work getting up those steeps mountains & enduring the hours and I salute that. But, I am not bike crazy at all. To each his/her own!
Maybe we could switch homes next year. 🙂 Years ago, my husband brought home a cassette of the entire Tour and said enthusiastically that we could all watch it. “Boring” was the world that appeared over all our heads but after watching and having him explain the strategies involved, I became hooked. So this was a great week. The Stanley Cup (hockey) ended and the Tour started–two of my favorite sports. But I’m fine with everyone not caring about it. 🙂 Glad you liked the photo, though.

That orange …whatsit… is great – is it a bike rack, or a piece of sculpture, or what? And I like the old yellow bike in the woods, even though it looks sort of lonely.
The orange “bike” is indeed a bike rack at a Caribou Coffee in Naperville, Illinois. I love the old bike. Saw it right next door to our church and thankfully, I always have my iPad with me. :-0
Hope all’s well, Sharon.

Getting back to normal, thanks.
Very happy to hear that!! I look forward to getting together again in late August when the school trip happens. 🙂

It’s a card. :-). Happy you liked the post.
