For those of you following my blog, this is a break from my regularly scheduled series of posts on our trip to Yellowstone National Park, which yesterday featured close-ups (almost in the van) of buffalo. We’ll resume the trip shortly but for now, here’s my entry for this week’s photo challenge. It won’t be a surprise to my blog followers and it represents an annual carefree time for me and my family.
If you’d like to see other carefree moments, just click here: http://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/08/16/photo-challenge-carefree/. My apologies to all the photo challenge participants who visit. I’ll be road-tripping for two days (Saturday and Sunday), so I’ll have little time to return your visit until early next week. Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to a return visit.

Great shot. It looks like you took a ride and stopped for a while to enjoy the area.

Wild and carefree! A nice take on the theme.
PS: A new photo challenge – you are welcome to participate! http://esengasvoice.wordpress.com/2013/08/18/eses-weekly-shoot-quote-challenge/
This photo is fantastic! I’m an ex-pat from Texas living in Northern California out in the country, and all things horse and Western makes my heart sing.
I’m originally from Nebraska, but have always loved the mountains and horses, so we’re kindred spirits in that regard.
