After 28 years in our first house, we’ve moved into a smaller rental house several states away. The next stage of the journey begins.

    yes, together we move forward

  2. All the best for your new home

    • Thanks! It’s great to be back together for good after these years partly apart. The house is taking shape and fortunately all the boxes are in the garage and basement, so mostly out of sight. Less stressful that way. 🙂

Bloom where you are planted! (I know you will!) So thankful that you and Bill can finally be together in one place. May the Lord bless this next stage of your life together.

Glad things are moving along for you – Congrats on that huge move and nice photo of your next stage of life!

    • Thanks! The unpacking is going along well, just tough to know where to put things when there’s so much less space. Have to get rid of yet more, I guess. 🙂

I’m still finding places for things and making goodwill runs three months after our move. BTW, I see your profile photo with a horse. I love horses and had them all through my childhood into my twenties. Did you pack and move him/her too?

      • No, unfortunately not. 🙂 Long story short, the horses, ours and others, are run out on a ranch all winter in Wyoming (where we use them) and she couldn’t survive as she’s now 30. So we gave her to someone who will take care of her and baby her. Too expensive to keep horses in the Chicago area, even if there were good places to ride.

As for the move, we gave away, to people and thrift stores, quite a lot before moving and are still doing so. At least it blesses someone else that way. Where did you move from and to?

That’s good to hear. It’s hard to say goodbye to a horse, they are such great pets but not so easy to take along. I still feel guilty about selling mine and its been almost 20 years – he is long gone by now! 😦

We only moved 20 mins across town (East Orlando to Winter Park) -but all for my kids with better schools and etc. It was all worth going thru our 10 years of crap! Ha ha
        Beat wishes!

What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, that or the other thing.
