Last Thanksgiving, we stayed a week in Cape May, New Jersey, a beautiful place. One morning it was foggy and I grabbed my iPad, heading out for a solitary, hushed walk. I almost missed this spider web, dripping with moisture. I like this picture because it’s not completely in focus and it’s naturally black and white. The droplets look like rhinestones, one of my favorite types of jewelry. Here are the other responses to this week’s Black and White challenge. Take a look. It doesn’t take long and you’ll be glad you did.

Wonderful capture–Cape May is very close to me. Hope to go there to see fall migration. Happy Phoneography Monday.
I’d love to go again. It’s such a beautiful place. Our friends are right across the street from the nature preserve, so it was the perfect location.

Such a great capture!
Thanks, Melissa. I almost missed it but since I was by myself and taking my time, I spotted it.

Those moments of attention are the best. 🙂
Nice photo Janet and a great title!

Fantastic photo — I’m glad you noticed that spider’s web and shared it.
So glad you liked as much as I liked finding it. 🙂

this is lovely… 🙂 I have never ever found a spider web encrusted by dew like that ever…
I hadn’t seen one like it, either. But the dew was especially heavy that morning, so I was fortunate. It was as if I were walking in a cloud.

Lovely photo and poem to match!
It was a photo I almost missed. Had I not been on my own, looking for photo opps, I would never have seen it.
