    • Good morning (at least in my slice of the world), Managua. I thought those were pretty strong words, too. Glad the photo worked. I searched through my “files” for a long time to try to find one that went with the saying. I’m off to get ready for church. I hope your Sunday’s going well.

  4. So many talkers in the world – actually, the problem isn’t the talkers, it’s the chronic complainers, the people who always know why things shouldn’t be done. A great quote, Janet.

  5. I have always loved this quote! Thanks for the reminder. And Roosevelt surely can speak from experience, with all the health troubles he had, starting out, and then both his wife and his mom died on the same exact day, leaving him to raise a child alone. Among other things…He did set an example, and not just talk about it.

    • That last point is important, Katharine. Too many talk but never do what they suggest other do. There are so many good quotes out there. It’s fun to find them and share.
