This week’s travel theme is one dear to my heart: Fragrant. The fragrance of the mountain air is one of my most precious fragrances, but here are some others that I cherish just as much.
The fragrance of tea.
The fragrance of bread and additionally, in this case, the fragrance of friendship that sent me a dozen bagels all the way from New York City.
There’s not much that is as fragrant as a bowl of fresh peaches, warm in the summer sun.
The fragrance of a horse.
The 5th is the best – on the right.
Vielen dank, Tom. 🙂 Hope you’re having a great Saturday.

Oh yes I love all those fragrances, but would have to add the scent of roses to the mix. 🙂
I almost did, but I didn’t want to overwhelm visitors with too many photos. 🙂

Love these – especially you and your horse 🙂
Good morning, Cynthia, and thanks for dropping in. I’m happy you liked the photos, especially the one of Sunday and me. She’s a special horse, that’s for sure.

I love all those fragrances, it’s hard to say what’s the best. Maybe the fragrance of a horse and leather in the morning when you ride through a peach grove with a cup of tea and a fresh bagle in your hand :o)
Oh, very good, Easy!! And the fragrance of a dog running along beside you.
Super Saturday to all of you!

I thought leather too! What a beautiful saddle!
It is beautiful, isn’t it? It’s also very heavy! It’s Bill’s. Mine’s much smaller and less elaborate but very comfortable.

It is just marvelous actually! I would love to see yours too !
(gee that reads funny )
Ha! I knew what you meant. My saddle is in Wyoming, since we only ride up there. I’ll take a picture of it next summer and post it. 🙂
I’d like to see it and live vicariously through you! I wanted a horse since I was little .
I always wanted one, too, and was fortunate to get one when I was in high school. When I graduated from college, I couldn’t take him with me, so we had to sell him. Having the horses in Wyoming means we can only ride during vacation, but it’s the easiest way and riding there is wonderful.
Thats a great way to live !
Beautiful, beautiful post for the fragrant!
Thanks so much, Amy. I hope your Saturday is filled with delicious fragrances.

You did a wonderful job of capturing the theme, I really like the shot of the hot tea.
Thanks. It’s an especially fragrant one as it has chocolate and other additions that make it smell wonderful.

Great choices for this week’s theme, with great fragrances!
Thanks, Milka. Hope you have a fragrant Thanksgiving.

These are great shots. I particularly like the peaches. They’re my favourite fruit, and we’re coming up to peach season here. I could almost smell them from the photo.
Ripe peaches do have a marvelous smell, don’t they? Enjoy them and thanks for visiting.
