Bless me, I think I’ve sneezed out some haiku.
It’s chilly enough in my part of the world for a few good sneezes, so my entry for the Weekly Writing Challenge is winter-based. To find other responses to the challenge, click on the words in the previous sentence.
Wind herds fat snowflakes
Into corrals of bent grass
Birds ruffle feathers
Fat pumpkin shivers
On porch next to purple kale
Leaves bow under snow
gesundheit! 🙂
Danke! 🙂

Made me shiver, wonderful images and language.
Hi, Brenda. I hope you were wearing something warm. 🙂 Thanks for visiting and commenting. Enjoy your day.

I put on a sweater. 😉 Have a great one!
This is lovely Janet. I shivered as I read it. Feeling for the pumpkin.
Actually the pumpkin is doing really well but the kale is pretty droopy. It had already bolted so that’s not a problem but until the snow and freeze, it was looking quite lovely on the porch.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Although the snow would typically make me sad, the thought of a “fat pumpkin” is rather cheerful, so it does leave me smiling in the end. Lovely way to think of the whole scene. 🙂
There really wasn’t much snow. I understand we’re likely to run into lots of rain in the Philadelphia area tomorrow night…after the likelihood of snow in Ohio. Yikes! Could be an interesting trip. 🙂

poor frosted vegetables? 😛 Stay well, keep warm ^__^
You, too.

LOL, I like your play on words with Haiku Catchoo. Your snow-under kale still looks quite hale under there!
Happy Thanksgiving, Madison. The play on words came from the woman who posted the challenge, so I can’t claim credit for that. The kale photo’s a bit older and it did look good then. Not so much now. 🙂
