The Weekly Photo Challenge is “Let There Be Light.” I find this one particularly interesting, although it makes me want to phone home. But maybe I’m just space truckin’.

Hmm… where did you find this?
A Subway in Billings, Montana.

Wow – what an unusual place to find something like this. I wonder if whoever ordered and installed these lights saw the “alien” connection?
It’s in an older building and looked good in the setting, but it immediately caught my eye and yelled, “Alien.”
Cool!
I’m glad you thought so, too, Georgia.

ET lives in your place? lol
Looks like it, doesn’t it? That’s why I thought it was such a cool shot.

Oh my 😉 high phone bills?
I think he has his own line (at least I hope so!)
🙂 He probably uses Skype or Whatsapp
Hi Janet, I found your site by guessing your url from your gravatar name. I was trialling Disqus but canned it after your comment as there’s no url for guest commenters. If someone’s not a registered Disqus user it’s nearly impossible to find their blog without a url.
Your light looks like a looking down on top of a wombat/guinea pig etc shot
or an alien head….
Hi, Tony. Thanks for persisting. 🙂 I may have a Disqus name, but I don’t know for sure. Have a wonderful Sunday.
Doesn’t matter know ‘cos I’m back using standard WP commenting now. I deleted & reposted your comment to include your url. I think all the different 3rd party commenting systems are more hassle than they’re worth. Just makes it harder for people to leave a comment. I’ve read comments from people on review sites who’ve said that if a blog has Disqus, Intense Debate, Livefyre etc they refuse to comment. The standard comment system is just simpler all round.

Cool alien portrait. Reminds me of the ambassador on Babylon 5.
🙂

I know it’s a wall fixture, but all I can see is the face! It’s so unintentionally cute. 🙂
Hope you had a very happy thanksgiving, too!
I know. The face just jumped out at me, too. We did have a good Thanksgiving. Driving back to Chicago early tomorrow morning.

Am thinking that alien/ mouse look might have been accidental!! 🙂
I’m sure it was, but it’s still pretty cute.
janet
It sure is 🙂
