They really ARE red, Janet! How’re the travels?

    • Excellent! We’ve been to galleries and shops in Scottsdale and had a lovely trip to Sedona today with lots of desert scenery and galleries and shops as well. I’ve gotten some great earrings and am enjoying the warm weather. This photo is my first foray into using the panorama feature on my iPhone. I think it turned out rather well.

Crikey! When I want to make a panorama I have to use a software for it. But I have no need of a smartphone: it’s you guys who get around all the time to whom they’re so useful. It turned out VERY well – a terrific picture, in fact!

I love it (and the desert). I know you must be having a wonderful time. Nice shot.
I just posted Jupiter and her four moons myself! What a clear night here.

Isn’t Sedona beautiful? Great shot, Janet!

  4. Sedona is timeless and gorgeous.

Good job on your first panorama shot! What fun. My iPhone doesn’t have that feature, but one of these days… 😉 Have fun!

Have an enjoyable trip! Great capture, Janet!

  7. Super shot. I once spent a fortnight there on a Painting Holiday, and it was the devils own job to get those red rocks right. The trick: cerulean blue with a touch of manganese violet. Finally got the hang of it on the penultimate day!

I love those Red Rocks of Sedona !!!!

What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, that or the other thing.
