I was privileged to see Dale Chihuly’s work this weekend at the Desert Botanical Gardens. To put together a post using my phone that would even begin to do justice to his installation is impossible. However, I’ll give you a few photos to pique your interest in this amazing artist’s glasswork.

I love Dale Chihuly’s work, Janet. Nice shots!

    • His work is amazing, Cathy, and my shots don’t even begin to do him justice. I took all my shots with my iPhone or iPad and I’m going to wait until I get home where I can give them a better look before deciding which ones to post. I took quite a few. 🙂

Absolutely gorgeous! I am certainly am a fan of Dale Chihuly’s work. I just love how vibrant the colors are in his work. Thanks for sharing!

    • It’s almost impossible to do his colors justice in a photo, but it’s fun to try! The contrast between seeing them during the day and then illuminated at night was striking.

Up to you, now, Janet, to do a proper post about this once you’re home. Any time, me old china – just make sure to put up as many images as possible of this glorious work! 🙂

  6. I guessed who it was before reading your post. 🙂 There are a lot of Chihuly pieces in our area!
