I admit I cringe when I hear words like “selfie.” Maybe that’s just age. And I see “selfie” has made it into the dictionary. No matter my feelings, this week’s challenge is “Selfie” and I’ll go with that. You see my vacation selfie each time you view my gravatar, so I’m giving you a dressy version, my Sunday-go-to-meeting self. I’m heading to Costa Rica on Sunday for a very short mother-daughter getaway, a Christmas gift from said daughter. So it may take me some time to see you. In the meantime, have a wonderful, photogenic week!

Have fun! My daughter went to Costa Rica (without me…) and loved her stay. Although she was a bit unsure about the monkeys!
Should be fun, but I’ll watch out for aggressive monkeys!!

Simply lovely Janet! I’m not sure about posting a selfie myself. Have to think about it.
I did a few recently just for fun, including a few with hats, so I had one to offer. You could do a reflection one and some have done a shot of shoes or something like that.

Hey, thanks! I have quite a few more. A few years ago, an older woman at church gave me several hats because she wanted me to have them rather than sell them at the rummage sale. I love that. I’ve found that vintage hats are much too small. I’m not a bit person (or have a big head) but people were certainly smaller “back in the day.”
Well, I love hats, but have a huge head. I have to buy my hats at Big Head Hats and like stores. Maybe our brains have evolved. 🙂
🙂 Let’s hope that’s the explanation. Used to be that I could find my (big) shoe size (9) all the time. Now it’s much more difficult as kids’ feet are much bigger. Not sure what would be evolving there!!
