If you drive through Custer State Park near Rapid City, South Dakota, you might see all sorts of wild animals, including bison (AKA buffalo.)  You’re also likely to see wild burros, although as you can see from these photos, they really aren’t all that wild.  They are, however, excessively cute!

  1. They are adorable.

Very well captured – so wonderful cute – the first and third photo makes me think of customs officials who ask “Anything to declare ..?”… 🙂 🙂 😉

I just LOVE the 2S standing with heads in car window! – they look as if they’ve stopped for a bit of a chat … but of course we know what they’ve actually stopped for … I think it’s terrific that people like them so much that they’re completely tame! Thanks for these adorable photos, Janet!

    • Distinctly my pleasure, M.R. I thought you’d enjoy them. They’re beggars, that’s what they are, but mighty cute ones!

janet, enjoying the sun and happy about warmer temperatures in the forecast for the next ten days!

  8. Such lovable creatures, and as you rightly say, so cute. 🙂
