For this shot, I’m inside my favorite tea shop, TeaLula, looking the tea inside my teacup reflecting what’s outside.

Such a clear reflection. Really cool!
Thanks, Steve. I love reflections, so I have quite a few in my “files.” I was glad to be able to use one. Hope you have a great weekend.

Wow! What a stunning capture Janet! Love it.
Many thanks, Madhu. The place and the tea are also wonderful 🙂

🙂
You’ve preserved and shared one of life’s magical moments. Thank you!
I’m glad you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed taking it. 🙂 I do love a good cup of tea and to have a lovely reflection is just a bonus.

I enjoy those things as well. You and your wonderful photographer friends have inspired me to bring my camera into my creativity also. Should be fun to see what comes of it. A big focus is working on food photos for my upcoming cookbook. The cookbook blends my nonfiction writing career with the fiction one. It’s very exciting!
Great! I can’t wait to see it. I’m glad we could inspire you. Food photography can be difficult but if you get it right, so beautiful. Hannah, bittersweetblog.com/, does wonderful food photography and is also a cookbook writer. You might enjoy her work.
Thanks for the up. It will definitely take some practice to get it right. I’ll look into Hannah’s site.
Lovely composition!
Thanks very much.

Excellent shot, very artistic Janet.
I really appreciate that, Sandra.

Great shot, Janet!
Coming from one who takes wonderful photos, I really appreciate the comment, Cathy. Any signs of spring out your way? It’s 51 right now, dipping down for a couple of days (weekend, of course), then back up some. Spring weather, but not warm enough for spring growth yet, at least where we can see it. I’m looking forward to it.
It’s close to 60 this afternoon. I think I’m going to go for a run in a bit. And tomorrow? Possibly snow! That’s March in Colorado! 🙂

I like the natural, circular framing that the cup creates. Well done!
Thanks, Cardinal. I thought the shape was pleasing. Glad you did, too.

Love this picture 🙂
Thanks for letting me know! It’s always great to hear.
janet
Janet, you’re brilliant. I love this idea. Well done!
Thanks very much, Michele. I’m glad you liked it so much. Have a wonderful weekend.

That photo could make me a tea-drinker. So serene and contemplative. Just lovely.
I’m glad that feeling came through. I relax every time I go there. Unfortunately, it’s quite a drive but when I go, I stay for 2-3 hours and just enjoy.
janet
and it is damned clever of you, too! 🙂
Hi, M.R. Just getting ready to go to bed but nice to catch you before I do. You’d love TeaLula, great tea, lovely people and so relaxing.
janet
Sure would. LOVE it. Sighh …
Sleep well, beautiful one. You know what tomorrow brings.
🙂
Can’t wait! Wish you could be here. Enjoy your day.

Great reflections. I love your image. It reminds me of my mum. She used to ‘read’ tea leaves and said she just talked about the pictures she could see in the cup. Marie
I can’t read tea leaves, but I do love a good cup of tea. I’m glad you liked the photo. 🙂

Wow! What a wonderful reflection you have captured. Surely a great photo for the inside challenge. You have inspired me to start madly capturing all kinds of reflection and not just those in the waterways!!
If my photo did that, I’m more than satisfied. There are so many great reflections everywhere that you’ll have much joy and excitement finding and capturing them. I can’t wait to see what you find.
Hope your Monday’s off to a great start.
janet
🙂 Thanks so much Janet

Clearly, you captured something very moving and universal with this simple image. Gorgeous composition. I love that the cosmos is captured in one circular container, with such clarity; and that it suggests infinite depth as well. Truly terrific shot. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much, Sarah. I never thought of the earth’s shape and the shape of the cup being similar, but you’re right. Thanks for visiting and for your comment.
janet
Thanks for sharing your gorgeous image and a tea shop (that is not super far from me!) I’m always on the lookout for new places to get loose leaf tea.
I’m always happy to share TeaLula. Let me know if you’d like to meet there sometime. I’ve met several people there who I met online
