Everybody has oddball photos sitting around in their files that they can’t quite bring themselves to throw out, even though they don’t know exactly what to do with them.  Cee’s created the perfect thing:  put them out there for people to see.  Here are few for this week.

Just want to add that they didn’t shoot it.  My dad bought it at an auction.

Great odd ball photos and so creative. I like your keys! 🙂

    • I was getting our younger daughter a couple of keys. Now, instead of someone making them, there’s a machine that does everything and it had a number of cool choices for keys. Of course, these were a bit more expensive.

  4. Yes, you did find some oddball photos. How entertaining.

I require you to grill your paternal parent upon his motivations … I suspect the answer would be along the lines of “It was an AUCTION, for heaven’s sake ! – one buys ANYTHING at auction !” [grin]

    • M.R., they went specifically because everything there was western. We were at the cabin in Wyoming at the time (during the summer) and Dad had talked about going. He mentioned there was a bear for sale. When he got home, I guessed that he got the bear but he also got an arctic fox in white winter fur and a huge, gorgeous grey wolf (as well as more mundane western things.) As they live in Arizona, everything looks perfectly at home in their house.

      • M-R says:

And who am I to say otherwise ?! These things are always a matter of taste. My own father was given an elephant’s foot waste-paper-basket for his study, and had NO IDEA how to get rid of it !!I believe it was still there when he died.

      • You’re so right, M.R. But they are all really quite magnificent, particularly the wolf. Sometimes the kids from their church’s grade school come to the house for a field trip. 🙂 They’re all quite amazed. These guys fit in well with saddles, bronzes, spurs, painting, etc. that decorate the house. It all seems rather normal to us!

  6. Great photos for the challenge. I love the bears teeth. 😀

  7. Cute! The macaroon is my favorite. I think the bear wants to eat that macaroon as the appetizer to something bigger.

  8. Great oddball pics, Janet. They really made me laugh. 🙂

  9. About that bear photo…..Ewww….LOL
