There are altogether too many possibilities for this week’s photo challenge theme, “Work of Art.” I choose two, this first in San Francisco’s Chinatown last September.
I must add that as I’m traveling much of the time until next week, I won’t be able to get to many other blogs this week, but I’ll do my best. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.
This is our homemade entree for Easter dinner: ravioli stuffed with artichoke filling, served with an heirloom Italian walnut sauce. It’s actually a work of Janet, not of art. 🙂
I agree that there are so many choices for this prompt. But you have chosen well, and so different from each other. Fantastic shots… and now I’m hungry.
Glad you liked them both, Meghan. I make the ravioli at least twice a year and they’re always a hit.

That ravioli presentation is a work of art!
Thanks! They tasted great, too.

Both wonderful! And that recipe sounds fantastic!
Cathy
Cathy, the recipe not only taste fantastic, it’s fast and easy. All good! Glad you liked the photos.

Mate ! – the ravioli gets my vote, for it puts the wonderful Chinese dragon to shame. Why don’t you take it to Elaine’s oversight of Angie’s Friday Feast ??? – oh, because you’re travelling. Well, another time !
What’s the Friday Feast, M. R.?

Ooh, Janet, that ravioli looks delish! Would love to try your recipe. 🙂
I haven’t posted the recipe. Have to see if it’s one that’s copyrighted or not. But the sauce recipe I shared with permission of Loretta, who’s grandmother’s recipe it is.

Oh, that’s great. Thanks! I will try the sauce.
Both are fantastic.
Thought the dragon was fantastic and loved the fun ravioli pic (remember, art is in the eye of the beholder!). Thanks for sharing and travel safely.
Thanks, Gale. Food can certainly be art and my remark about it not being a work of art but a work by Janet was just for fun. I had safe and enjoyable travels (thanks very much) and am back to working my way through photo challenge entries. Thanks for stopping in and commenting.

Love the first shot Janet, and LOL on the artistry of the second!! Fun response!
Good morning, Tina, and thanks for dropping by. We always like to tease my dad, whose name is Art, that such-and-such is a work of art and one year I got my mom a magnet that had “I (heart) art” on it from a museum. 🙂 As for the first shot, I’ve been waiting for just the right time and as Clouseau says in the Pink Panther movies, “Now is the time!”
