As the Weekly Photo Challenge theme is now two hours late in posting, I’m going to free myself and do a post anyway. That likely ensures that the prompt will come up as soon as I post, but so it goes. I’m tired of waiting. Instead, I’ll share an Ogden Nash quote. Have a wonderful weekend!
Thank you so much Janet for echoing my feelings. Next time, I too will engage myself in creating a post instead of just waiting. Are these baby ducks?
Baby geese (goslings.) This was taken a few weeks ago. They’re all now gangly and less cute–in the teenage phase. 🙂
As for WP, no point in building my day around them. It doesn’t seem difficult to have the post ready to go at noon EST as usual, but evidently it is. So I’m off to real life. Have a wonderful weekend!!

The webbed feet: I mistook them for ducks.
Nice pic and you have a wonderful weekend as well.
Now I’m back from walking to the post office and store and there’s the prompt. I’ll post my response for tomorrow’s post. 🙂
He must have been thinking of me when he wrote that 🙂
No comment. 🙂
Serious fuff!
Great choice.
Thanks. And as predicted, by the time I got back from posting and walking to the store and post office, the prompt is up. 🙂 That will be my post for tomorrow.
Enjoy the weekend.

I thought the prompt would not come, too.
I’m posting my entry tomorrow. Then I’ll start looking at all the others. Enjoy the weekend, Imelda.

OGDEN NASH = GENIUS !
PHOTOS OF DUCKS (AT ANY AGE) = EXQUISITE TASTE !
[grin]
Geese, she replied, ducking. Agree about Ogden. For Christmas, I bought Bill about six books that are, I believe, O.N.’s complete works
He will end up A Much Better Man. No-one couldn’t. I wonder about double negatives …? 😉
Oh, that explains those huge feet ! 😀
How true isn’t this ….. and adorable too. No swan-chicks in my end yet … I think it has gone terrible wrong for my swan couple this year, she is still in the nest. Have a lovely weekend, Janet.
You, too.
I love Ogden Nash’s wit and sensibility. Your accompanying photo is the perfect addition.
Hard to do justice to ON, but I’m glad it worked. 🙂
