water song’s murmur
harped on rock-strewn stream bed
orchestrates my rest

  1. Loved the imagery and sounds 🙂

  2. Bumba says:

    Very nice!

  3. Such a beautiful haiku Janet … and that photo is gorgeous so in tune with the music.

  4. julespaige says:

While it is nice to be away… I do miss the coolness and the availability of just walking to the creek that borders our place back home. Sometimes our gully along one side does get low and looks just like this… Though there is no bridge across it to the neighbors. 🙂

I hope to catch up on more return visits tomorrow. I thought I recognized your name (though I’m sure there are many…) So I wanted to stop by – I hope to listen to the music tomorrow.

  5. I really love this, Janet! 🙂

    • Hi, Joanna. Thank so much for visiting! I’m taking a hiatus from FF since it’s summer, I want to be outside or off the computer more and will be traveling (for fun) much of the summer. But I miss my “peeps”, so I’m thrilled you took the time to visit. Hope all’s well with the two of you.

  6. An orchestrated rest might be the most soothing of all.

    • You may be right, Mark. Vacations are one of my greatest joys and times of refreshment and rejuvenation. Thank you for visiting and commenting!
