Lots of traveling going on in the next five days, so if I’m not prompt in responding to comments, it’s not that I’m ignoring you. I just don’t do lots of that on the phone and if I’m driving, not at all. 🙂

Gosh, she looks so tiny and delicate. Beautiful, dress!
She was petite but as a farmer’s wife, tough.
I can imagine. My gran was 4’10” and absolutely formidable. I adored her.
Hi Janet, the first thing that struck me was how tiny your Grandmother was. What a gorgeous photograph this is.
Glad you liked it. She wasn’t very tall but always looked just right, even living on the farm.
So beautiful and such a treasure! 🙂
I love old photos, especially of family. I have a copy of one of my great-great-great(?) grandfather who was in the Union cavalry and I treasure that.

My mother’s fraternal grandmother was 4′-11″. My mom was just over 5′. And looked just like her. I have inherited a few more inches – your picture is lovely;). Drive safe.
I’m only about 5′ 5″ myself but she was small that that.

What a lovely picture this is! Looking at the size of the furniture, I don’t think it was your grandmother who was tiny. I think it was your grandfather who was really really tall 😉 Her veil was so delicate…
Grandpa was tall but Grandma was short and petite. Glad you could stop by. Enjoy the upcoming weekend (and Friday.) 😉

Your Grandmother looks Small, but her face is full of character. Grandpa looks very determined! …I was quite surprised to note how Short the Wedding gown is, except for the lace and all. And the Sofa looks really Comfy.
She had a lot of character and my grandfather, although laid back in many ways, was a hard worker with a subtle sense of humor. I think the sofa was a prop at the photographer’s studio. Thanks for visiting and commenting.
