This week’s photo challenge is “Silhouette.”  This silhouette is from the Chihuly exhibit in Phoenix early this year.  It was spectacular during the day, then completely different at night when the desert plants turned into silhouettes against the lighted sculptures.

Beautiful and wonderful colours. Have a nice weekend!

    • Thanks, Jaap. Hope your weekend’s great, too. We got home last night and tomorrow I leave to drive our younger daughter back to school in Philadelphia, a 13-hour drive. By the end of the week, I’ll be home again and ready to relax…or work around the house. 🙂

  3. What a great, dramatic picture. not only the colors but also the movement. I hear music, see swaying, dancers. As I look more, I also see an eeriness, a macabre, a death knell, a burning…

    very nice.

And, please, don’t ask me what I’m smoking today.
    It’s the same as yesterday.

  6. If you get a chance to see the Chihuly exhibit in Seattle and the Chihuly glass garden you will enjoy them. The Tacoma Glass Museum here in the Seattle area and the glass schools are amazing as well…Just a thought.

  7. So beautiful Janet. thanks for sharing
