  1. I never smoked a camel… but maybe that’s a fabulous new experience lol

  2. Or…do you smoke ON a camel? So strange to see smoking in public places having been banned in Iowa (USA) several years ago. It has made eating in public so much more enjoyable!

  3. Sandra says:

Awww, how thoughtful. I know they hate to smoke in public…

  4. Hehehe…..Who knows what goes on in that lounge? 😀

  5. loisajay says:

    Oh, those smoking lounges….gross.

  6. Where do they carry their smokes? How do they work the lighters with those hooves?
But glad they are considerate and taking care of all the tourists that visit there. (This is just the funniest picture)

  8. Steve says:

    Bloody camels. So antisocial

  9. M-R says:

Yes – time this was taken down. And even when it was OK to be there it wasn’t OK, eh, Janet ? Certainly looks like a place to go to smoke your humped beast. [grin]

  10. maybe they smoke real camels? bbq?

  11. You’ve been very busy traveling. Now Frankfurt. Wow.
    Cute shot.

  13. Maybe it’s all about kindness to animals – you know, poor traveling camels that are so overheated they’re practically smoking? You can take your camel into the lounge and have it gently sprayed with rose-scented water until it’s nice and cool again?

No, I guess not. But that’s definitely a strange sign. Do they check to make sure everyone who goes inside has a pack of Camels, and no other brand of cigarettes??

    • There were no Camel police at the door (doorway wasn’t large enough), so I guess you can smoke whatever you like (and in Amsterdam, that would probably be true in a different way.) Very timely spotting, as only a few days later this challenge came around.

So many comments that could be made on this one but I’ll say this: an excellent interpretation of this week’s challenge! Thanks for sharing!

  15. words4jp says:

Very, very interesting. So the question remains – did you see any camels on the airport????

  16. Wow – that is quite the sign. Trip down memory lane. I can’t figure out how smokers can afford to buy cigarettes let alone need a lounge just for Camels. Great sign. 🙂

  17. quarksire says:

OMG an if i gotz marlboros i am not allowed huh 🙂 lol. how funny is dat 🙂

  18. hehe … who does smoke , nowadays? Oh, I know, people who live under a rock. If you don’t know what cigarette smoking does to your lungs then you must live under a rock. I’ve never smoked. I choked the 1st time and never recovered. I’m glad I never started. I want to feel sorry for the people that do but, honestly, can we get some intelligence going here …. !!!!!😂

  19. I wonder if people are welcome. Delightful – happy trails Janet!
