So do people smoke camels or do camels smoke something? Spotted a few days ago in the Frankfurt airport.

Or…do you smoke ON a camel? So strange to see smoking in public places having been banned in Iowa (USA) several years ago. It has made eating in public so much more enjoyable!
I agree, Chuck, but at least here the smokers are confined to a small area with a door. Even when someone went in, I didn’t smell smoke.

The good thing is that the smoke is confined to a space I don’t have to enter. I’m thankful for that.

Glad you think so. I thought it was quite funny myself, just the thing to spot after a transatlantic flight and long walk through the terminal.

Maybe it’s all about kindness to animals – you know, poor traveling camels that are so overheated they’re practically smoking? You can take your camel into the lounge and have it gently sprayed with rose-scented water until it’s nice and cool again?
No, I guess not. But that’s definitely a strange sign. Do they check to make sure everyone who goes inside has a pack of Camels, and no other brand of cigarettes??
There were no Camel police at the door (doorway wasn’t large enough), so I guess you can smoke whatever you like (and in Amsterdam, that would probably be true in a different way.) Very timely spotting, as only a few days later this challenge came around.

Wow – that is quite the sign. Trip down memory lane. I can’t figure out how smokers can afford to buy cigarettes let alone need a lounge just for Camels. Great sign. 🙂

hehe … who does smoke , nowadays? Oh, I know, people who live under a rock. If you don’t know what cigarette smoking does to your lungs then you must live under a rock. I’ve never smoked. I choked the 1st time and never recovered. I’m glad I never started. I want to feel sorry for the people that do but, honestly, can we get some intelligence going here …. !!!!!😂
People know, but the addiction is either too great or what they perceive as the cool factor. I don’t understand it, either. Nasty habit.
