There’s was a lot of rain during the time I enjoyed in France the last several weeks, (home as of yesterday), which makes some days feel black and white or, in the forest, green and grey. However, there’s beauty in each of these as well as in color as my first photo attempts to show. If you want to see more black and white photos, drop by Lens and Pens by Sally, our gracious hostess’ site.
While exploring Melisey’s general store, I came across this cute teapot. When I looked at the photo, it was in black and white. Somehow I’d hit the filter on my phone and gotten a black and white photo when I wasn’t even planning on one. I guess this one was meant to be shared today.
Finally, one of my naturally black and white shots with a shot or two of editing added for pizzazz! Behold, a lowly glass of water elevated to something more.
Great photos. 😍
Glad you like them, Raewyn.

Welcome back–the first image is a gem, because it invites me into an ethereal forest to dream and meditate. Thanks. Happy Photo Challenge.
Thanks, Sally. It was great to be there and it’s great to be back, too. Just finished breakfast and am getting ready to go to the park and see the effects of autumn. I have a feeling I’ll be taking lots of photos. 🙂

These are all fabulous photos, I love them all. Welcome back.
It’s nice to be home, but it was also great to be there (and take lots of photos.) 🙂 Glad you enjoyed the pictures.

excellent photos – I particularly like the romantic French forest
Thanks very much, Suzanne. Turning the photo to B&W and using the editing made it look completely different and added an air of mystery.

My favorite image is that first one.
Mine, too.

Kitty makes me smile! and the forest make want to wander! Good use of what you have before you.
Glass elevated to something more indeed. I like it. It is surreal!
It is, isn’t it? So much fun when a simple thing becomes more. Thanks.
