The end of this round of elections makes this quote from William Arthur Ward most apt. But the advice goes much farther than politics. It’s a basic tenet for a happy, productive life.
Anger and energy

Totally true. 😄
And so often not done, Raewyn. Have a wonderful day.

Focus your energies on answers… very true!
I think if everyone tried to do this, the world would be not only a better place but a more peaceful and happy one.

Great quote! Yes the elections were frustrating!
I didn’t find the elections frustrating but so many campaigns were nasty, rather than running on performance and beliefs and people who don’t agree tended to get rather strident and nasty, too. I love having the privilege of voting!
Yes that is how I felt. Our campaigning was awful. Even at the school board level they were nasty which made me so sad. These are people elected to help our kids! 🙂
We need to be able to disagree agreeably and also to campaign on what someone wants to do, his/her record, etc. without the nastiness and outright lies.

Yes, I’ll be repeating this for the next few years. 🙂
