I love the crystals in your fabulous photo! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, if you celebrate it.
We do and thanks! We have so much for which to be thankful. I haven’t seen you much. I hope all’s well.

All is well, Janet. Lots of changes, all of them good. I published new books, gained new students, have a grand baby on the way, and a new job. We also have a lot to be thankful for.
Great news!!
Thank you. 😀
Sensationally Angular…well done!
Thanks so much! It was a gorgeous morning, although cold. 🙂

Love the ice crystals!
The park was so beautiful this morning, Cathy, with crystals everywhere. It’s a miracle I got a walk done at all!
janet
wow- you captured some great snowflakes!
They’re actually not even snowflakes, but ice crystals and they were on everything this morning. It was stunning!

Incredible photo
I’m continually amazed at the shots I can get from my iPhone, Hamish, although sometimes I take my Nikon out. The phone’s so much easier, though, especially when I’m doing a walk for exercise as well as a photo walk. 🙂
janet
Gorgeous. Would make a terrific Thanksgiving card.
Thanks, Barbara. I won’t get any done by Thanksgiving, but I’m thinking about my own cards for Christmas, at least as gifts. Happy Thanksgiving.
janet
Yes they’d make lovely Christmas cards!

Thanks, Julie. I always enjoy seeing you.

I love the creativity of your take on angular Janet. Those crystals are amazing. A beautiful capture.
Thanks, Sue. That photo is hot off the press, so to speak, as I just took it this morning when it was definitely NOT hot. 🙂
Enjoy your weekend.

winter and fall converging – fantastic shot (early)
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Janet!
The two seasons have been converging off and on for some weeks now and it’s so beautiful. Thankful that we don’t have 5 1/2′ of snow as does Buffalo!! Have a marvelous Thanksgiving, too.
And here are those natural angles you mentioned, that you and I are drawn to. How wonderful that looks. And it really shows the temperature contrast between here (Austin) and you (the Big Horns). Wow. Hope you have a lovely (and angular) Thanksgiving, Janet.
Thanks for all that, Jann. My photo is actually from the park in Naperville, Illinois where I walk most mornings We only go to Wyoming for part of the summer, but I’ve been going there since I was in college, which was MANY years ago!
Janet – that is one heck of an incredible photo 🙂 Go you!!!
Thanks so much! 🙂
Absolutely wonderful! Missing frost here…
Leya, I know some people who would be glad to share their frost with you. 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend!
janet
Oh, yes – I know some who’s got enough of it…
Beautiful! Do you have any snow? We have it here in Mn and a month early!
We really haven’t had more than a dusting and not even enough to cover the whole ground. But we have stunning frost more than one morning, which has been treat for photos. 🙂
janet
Love the structure of the elements in your photo as well as the added touch of the crystals…Have a great weekend.
Thanks, Charlie. You enjoy your weekend as well.
janet
Janet, is that frost already? Great macro.
We’ve had at least three or four mornings of frost, although no more than a dusting of snow once or twice. The frost is simply gorgeous.
janet

I thought you’d agree. 🙂 Glad you like it.
janet
An angularly interesting find, Janet!
So much beauty in the nature, even if small. 🙂
janet
Gorgeous angles!
Thanks! I caught several photos of lovely crystals that morning but didn’t really see them until I got home as I didn’t take time from my walk to take out my reading glasses and look. 🙂
janet
These sparkly branches look like Christmas stars. So pretty … You must have a pleasant walk. Very nice ….🌟🌟🌟🌟
Izzy, it was very cold but also very beautiful.

Just the fact that you observed makes this photo all the more special.
Hey! Love this. I had two frost pics I was going to use, and ended up choosing five (count ’em 5) others. There are great shots this week, and I’ve only just begun to look at all the entries.
Thanks, Caerlynn. I’ve worked my way through quite a few entries and I agree that there are many good ones. There are some excellent photographers in this group!
