Here’s another can’t-wait-for-spring post to go with my first one. Today in the Chicago area, the high is predicted to be 3 degrees Fahrenheit and the low 9 below. If we have wind, it will be worse. Ahhh, well, we’re almost at the end of February, which means April isn’t too far away.

-12 here this morning. I just want to crawl under my cozy covers and not come out till May!

Holy cow… I can’t even imagine what negative degrees would feel like at this point. I’m ashamed to admit it as a born and bred east coaster, but after spending so much time in California and Hawaii, I was shivering ferociously when the temperatures dropped down to 50 degrees last night!
At least the sun’s out. It would be much worse if it were cloudy but would be much better if the wind would stop. We’re up to 0 now and only -20 with wind chill. 🙂

I can’t imagine the cold where you are. It’s bad enough here with the wind chill of 30s-40s.

Brrr … I thought our 32 degrees last night was super cold. I haven’t been in cold NY since 1989.
Florida isn’t supposed to be cold. I am feeling sad for my orchids. I had them covered with old sheets to keep the wind off of them.😳
Artic cold making it’s way down here is very unusual. I’m happy I don’t have to go outdoors. 😀

I’ve featured flowers and designs by this group at this mall before. I just kept taking photos because everything was so beautifully done. 32 IS cold for Florida! Hopefully your weekend will be closer to normal!
