When cooking or baking, I often grab my phone to take a photo of some interesting sight or creature created by mixing, melting, adding, or other kitchen process. This one caught my attention and then I tarted it up a bit just for fun. I hope you enjoy it.

Is that a blue cheese danish?
No, just some drops of oil that were floating on top of all the other “wet ingredients” before mixing them together. There was a beautiful yellow ring around them, so I just played it up a bit to make it look like this.

mmmm…. I wonder…?
Oil drops floating on the rest of the wet ingredients. 🙂

Nice culinary abstraction…
Thanks, Sally. Those drops of oil formed such a cute little face and the perfect yellow rings out them just called for a photo. Stay warm.

Yup! 🙂

Fun! 🙂
I thought so and I’m happy you did as well.

LOL. Love what you have done here.
All I did was do a bit of fun editing on a photo that was already cute, but of course, I’m so glad you like it.

When you said you tarted it up I thought I was going to see something a bit more, well, tarty! I guess you never know what you’ll find in oil drops. I wonder if there’s such a thing as reading oil drops. Sort of like reading tea leaves?

😀
Yup!

Here’s looking at you, kid! I find it both charming and a bit unnerving whenever I find faces in my food (but what else would you expect, coming from the vegan over here…)
Hannah, when I took the photo, it didn’t look so much like a face but more like lots of cool circles with yellow rims. However, when I looked at it later, it looked more like a face, so I thought I’d play that up.
Looks like some spring weather might be headed our way after the next couple days of cold. Hurrah! And don’t forget the time change this weekend.
