Crystalline words

Words are like bits of crystal, the more faceted, the more beautiful. Speech should not be boring.

Don’t forget that words can also be like bits of crystal in their ability to cut and hurt.  We must be careful which facet we’re showing or using.

  3. All facets of a crystal may cut if the holder is not careful.
    Even a rose if held imprudently may cut. Does the rose hold back its beauty.
    We may be prudent in what we show, but too much caution can hamper expression.
    The receiver, too, has a responsibility too to accept, reject, analyze, and decide.
