For my oddball entry this week, I offer you a glimpse of one of my favorite neon signs. I guarantee you’ll enjoy a Fat Tire more than a flat tire. If you’re not a beer drinker, you can enjoy this one calorie- and alcohol-free. Cheers!

Great one!
And so cool when lit.

That is a cool neon sign. I like it very much Janet. 🙂
I love it, too, Cee. My parents picked it up somewhere and it’s so cool.

nothing like a real neon sign – as opposed to the LED signs which are replacing them – a real art and one I hope does not disappear someday….
I hope so, too. I’ve seen neon license plates which are pretty cool, too, but if someone hit your car, that would be bad.
janet
Yes it would. I just walked away from a 10 year life in the sign business – I know more than I care to in regards to neon vs led lighting. The license plate lights I have seen are led illuminate , though I would not rule out people placing neon on their car. A neon sign on the back of an automobile would be plain idiotic. 😉
Oh. Thanks for letting me know.
;). I actually start a new job tomorrow and I am nervous. Really nervous. No more signs and that scares me, though I know signs are not everything and I can live without them. Sorry for the detailed explanation of led/neon. I think I got excited when I saw your post – something familiar. Ok, I will shut up now – have a great night. xx
I don’t mind you explanation at all. I have no idea how to tell one from the other. As for the job, don’t worry. I started a new part time job just over a month again and it’s going well overall, but there are always new things and things you won’t get right immediately. Keeping you in my prayers tonight, Kim, and let me know how it goes.

This is a great photo for the challenge. Love it.
Well, thanks, Raewyn. And thanks for linking to my posts so often. It is very much appreciated.

You’re welcome. Your photos are always great
Fun picture! In this household fat tire usually comes in liquid form… 🙂
We visited the brewery in Ft. Collins once and got to taste most of their beers. Quite tasty, although the darks are my favorites/

You were right. We do have a similar theme going on here. I had never heard of fat tires until this winter. My husband was very tempted to get some for his bike to navigate through all the snow we’ve had this winter.
Hysterical.
Glad you enjoyed it.

Funky wheels ….. Great advertising. It catches your attention. You have the best Odd Balls. 😀
In the novel I am reading, one of the main characters stopped for a “Flat Tire” — I had to surmise it was a brand of beer, but never heard of it, and wasn’t sure it was a fictional name or real one. I now have my answer!! 😀
You do. 🙂 The brewery is in Ft. Collins, Colorado.
