Phoneography and Non-SLR Digital Devices Photo Challenge: Macro…pretty in pink

For Christmas, I was given an Olloclip and although I don’t have it down yet, I’m pleased with this result taken   outside my parents’ home in Arizona earlier this year.  This week we’re supposed to experience temperatures that contain two digits, not one, and none with a minus in front of it.  That’s progress and since it’s light longer now, I’m feeling spring!

The day the Lord created hope was probably the same day he created Spring.

    Love the colour !!

  8. We both have Spring in our thoughts. This week the temps are rising to the 50s–it’s a joyful change. Rilke is a favorite of mine, and all your poems give a boost to the bliss of Spring. Your image is filled with hope. A perfect post for today. Happy Photo Challenge.

    • I have Spring in my step as well as in my heart. 🙂 It will be warm here as well, something I can’t wait to experience. I’m glad you enjoyed the poems and the photo and enjoy your week as well.

Great shot, Janet! Looks to me like you’re getting the Olloclip down!

  11. Wow – I read the heading and thought I’m going to ask her about that lens and then this was the subject of the post. So, it sounds like you enjoy it, it takes a great photo, and my last question is did you have to get rid of your phone cover in order to use it?

    • Yes, the case has to come off. My package (from Amazon) came with a cover of sorts onto which the clip fits. But I just take my cover off and use it that way. I saw Olloclip recommended by others online so I thought I’d give it a try. As I mentioned in another comment (or two), a tripod would help to get perfect focus when that close.

indeed! pretty in pink, love it!

  15. I’ve rarely seen such a soft-looking flower. The macro makes it look larger than life, so I’d like to imagine I could curl up on top of it and take a nap.

  16. Stunning photo. I just love the colours – so vibrant.

  17. Beautiful image and quotes, Janet. 🙂

  18. Angeline M says:

That pink is glorious! Isn’t it amazing how spring comes, and the grass grows by itself? Every year!

    • God does good work, Angeline. 🙂 The subject of this photo is in bloom in Arizona in January, while we’re all in whites and greys, so it was especially appreciated.
