It’s spring and this is about as fresh as it gets: new life pushing from the ground juxtaposed against the retreating snow.  May your weekend be filled with fresh, new, vibrant life!

    • Thanks very much. The flowers are coming up so fast that I think it might be possible to see them grow if I just sat and watched for a little while. Have a great weekend.

  12. coolquilting says:

I don’t think any of my perennials or bulbs are poking through yet….still too cold!

    • We’re having some typical spring weather: “unseasonably” warm for a few days, then back to “normal” (40’s or low 50’s), cold at night. I’m good with that. You never know what March will be like, so I’m enjoying the lack of any blizzards. 🙂

  13. Sandra says:

    So spring-like – inspirational!

  14. Great take on fresh! I love the buds pushing through as if to say, “Enough snow, it’s our turn!” Wonderfully captured!

    • Thanks. I have to tell you that, being a horse person, every time I see your blog name, my minds sees “filly” before readjusting to “fill your own glass.” 🙂

  15. Norma says:

Great macro! Finally some signs of warm days coming soon. 🙂

  16. Spring Sprouting …. the perfect photo to indicate Fresh and Spring!!!!
Do you know what colors they will eventually be? I’m sure you’ll post a photo. 😃

    • I can’t recall if these are daffodils or something else, Izzy, but hopefully I won’t have to wait too long to find out. Later there will be day, lilies there, but not for some time yet. I’m sure there will be photos. 🙂
