Now that things have dried out, I can once again walk around the small lake near our house. I ventured down towards the lake for a closer shot of some geese and spotted this poor guy on the shore. He’s definitely seen better days! But he’s also perfect for the oddball challenge.

Very fishy!!! 😀
Definitely. 🙂

Oh dear, great find though
Just glad I didn’t step on it!

Ugh, next time the geese please! Definitely fits the oddball challenge!
Ouch….poor fishie:(
Not sure if a fisherman left him there or a bird or critter was scared off while eating.

Hopefully it was the second – most fishing around these parts is catch and release. My younger son has just begun fishing – joined the fishing club at school – never fished before. Now I am learning all about the sport:)
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. My dogs would love that old fish. Me- not so much!
Very true. I didn’t think of that, Sue, and a dog might even enjoy rolling it in.

Definitely odd. 🙂 I’m not sure what to say because I usually don’t like fish at all. 🙂
Well, you don’t have to eat it, so that leaves only the oddball status, which is different. 🙂

a week or two before I saw several seagulls with a fish – while the lake was almost 100% iced. They would fly around and then one would grab it while the others fought over it, and some even tried to sneak up and grab the fish.
