Weekly Photo Challenge: Blur 2…le Tour blur

After I posted my first entry, I remembered the fun I had taking photos of the 2013 Tour de France…from the comfort of my home.  I was enthralled by the colors and blurs that I saw from a certain angle while viewing the competition on my laptop.  I think this photo of the screen of my laptop aptly shows both the speed at which the ride occurs and the effort put into every stage.

  1. I like your interpretation. For once, I’m struggling with the challenge. 🙂

    • I know, Judy. I had a few photos in mind, but I have so many that it would take ages to find them. I did find a second one that I really like, so I entered that as well, even though I rarely do two. I’m sure you’ll find something. If not, find a great photo and move your camera a bit while shooting. 🙂

I wonder how that spam thing works – and well, thanks for checking there – I have started to peek there more often because twice I found legit ones too – and well, thanks….

      • The ways of the spam filter are unknowable and the best thing is to just check every day. 🙂

or check at least once a week because mine does not empty every day…
and was thinking of you when two teens pulled out their phones near the end of dinner – ummm = nope. keep them put away – it is face time still…. ha!

Oooh, Janet, I really like this entry. I agree with Issy, psychedelic feel to it as well. 😀
Wishing you a joyous and blessed Easter!

  12. Haha! Very clever. I’ve loved the Tour, too, until Lance and all of those dope fiends ruined it for me. But it made for an imaginative photo!

    • I know what you mean, especially about Lance, who turned out to be something worse than a drug user: a despicable person. I’m hoping that more and more riders will be riding clean now, although when you see what they have to accomplish, the temptation to get a bit of help must sometimes be almost overwhelming.
