My mom read to me. I can still remember the fairy tales she read. She had me spelling big words like “constitution” at age 4. I’m the wordsmith I am today because of her.
I understand, Terri. It’s odd, but for years, I never was interested in audio books. I’d either drive in silence (most of the time) or play some music (sometimes.) But recently I started listening to audio books and really enjoy it as I’m a “read whenever possible” person as well. 🙂
So true. I still read to my kids long after they could read themselves. They loved it. 🙂
We read to our girls even when they were in high school, although obviously all the time. 🙂 We all enjoyed it.

Yes, I think that some grownups like ourselves, enjoy the kids’ books as much as they do. 🙂
My husband read sci-fi to them, which they all enjoyed.
Sounds great, and such a bonding time. 🙂
Fabulous…
And so true. I still love reading.

Wow, That is so beautiful 🙂
Glad you enjoyed it, too.

Same for me, Terri. Reading is one of my top loves and necessary for my sanity.

Janet, I’m driving 600 miles to Portland this weekend, and I just bought two audio books at costco. Must “read” any way I can! 🙂

Lovely thought Janet.
And so very, very true.
