Fortunately I had the Nikon and telephoto and we were at a small pond where there were signs showing the different sorts of dragonflies we might see. I just kept looking and voilà. Spotted a lovely emerald green hummingbird on the Lantana that’s starting to bloom again – just in time for the migratory rush.
They are such amazing creatures. Their wings boggle the mind. This is a wonderful shot. 🙂
