Wake! For the Sun, who scatter’d into flight
The Stars before him from the Field of Night,
Drives Night along with them from Heav’n,
and strikes
The Sultan’s Turret with a Shaft of Light.

Beautiful.
Thanks, Sandra. The thing I may like best is that other than cropping and framing, the photo is as taken. Good old iPhone. 🙂 Hope you’re having a great day.

What a beautiful photo.
Thanks, Suzanne. It was a beautiful morning.

I was thinking about your photo later. It would look brilliant blown up and hung on a wall.
Today, as everyday, it dawned on me.
Hi.
Randy
If one day it doesn’t dawn on you, Randy, I guess your sun has set. 🙂 Hi back at you and enjoy Wednesday.
janet
That’s a great reply. 😉
🙂
This was a beautiful way to spend my 05:00 meditation and prayer session. The photos remind me of The Lord shining a new light on my day.
Makes me think of the same thing. When I see rays of light from the clouds, the thought that always crosses my mind is “the glory of God.” Blessings on your day.
janet
Just wow!
Thanks a lot, Jan. It was a gorgeous morning and it’s always nice when I can have a photo or two that conveys what I saw and felt. Happy Wednesday.
janet
beautiful!
Thanks, Lola.

Beautiful capture of the sunray, Janet! Love how you capture through the tree. 🙂
Always looking for a new a/o better way to present something, Amy. Glad it worked. When I saw this, I stopped in my tracks and pulled out my phone!
Glad you did! Very cool shot. 🙂
Wonderful image, Janet!
When a photo looks the way I saw it and conveys what I felt, I’m happy with it. I’m glad you like it, too, Lisa.
janet
Gorgeous!
Thanks! It was truly a sight to behold and I’m so happy the photo really shows off what I saw.
janet
Nice sunlight.
Thanks.
janet
Sunlight through trees is one of my most favorite scenes to shoot. This one is spectacular. “Nothing gold can stay” but these kinds of scenes are more precious than gold.
They are, Honey. This was eye-catching and heart-stopping.
janet
Janet, these images are so beautiful and the quote fits it perfectly.
Thanks, Lucile. It’s so much easier to get pictures of the sunrise now that the sun comes up later. 😀
janet
You’re welcome, Janet. I love sunrise as much as sunset.
