Relaxing in the chair a few days ago, I took a photo of my cup and saucer and then had some editing fun with my Glazed and Picasa apps. Here are some of the results that I particularly liked.  Any favorites?

I just love the third one Janet.

I love them all Janet. The original is…original, beautiful cup and saucer. The first one for its vintage looks and the black one reminds me of magic colouring books that I used to get as a child. 🙂

    • I realized last night that the black one reminds me of the scratch board our daughters used to enjoy. All the colors were underneath, although it appeared to be solid black. When they scratched their picture on it, the colors showed through the black. And yes, I love the original cup as well.

What larks! I like the last one…

Very clever effects! They are all great but then you had a beautiful original to start with!

  5. Dan Antion says:

I like the center (dark) one.

  6. Jellyfish Mama says:

They’re all very different from one another so you can’t compare, I like them all! I also love the teacup itself :p

    I like the first one!

  8. What a fun exercise in the possibilities…

  9. So pretty! I like the first one best. 🙂

  10. I like your first two images, the second one in particular. The dark colors and graphic lines make it come alive to me.

  11. What a lovely cup and saucer. I love that first one the best. I know what you mean about the black one – I loved that form of art at school.

I think the first one is my favourite, along with the original. One of the restaurants here serves their tea in beautiful vintage cups and saucers — it’s so civilized!

Isn’t it amazing how much you can do now with photo processing apps? These are all exquisite!

  14. Such beautiful china! I love the vintage affect on the first one. 🙂

What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, that or the other thing.
