“Careful” is a theme apropos for the week before Halloween, the holiday of least interest to me. No zombies or haunted houses for me, though. I’ve chosen a different road. 🙂 If you use these responsibly, you will be being careful, an advantage to both you and those around you.
Have a safe and enjoyable weekend.
I had to look at the tag to make sure it was an automobile. Great photo. Halloween is a lost holiday on me too. I’m glad I’m not alone on that one. Have a good weekend, Janet.
Tail/brake light on our Toyota Sienna van. Love that van!! I bought a monster bag of candy today for us to give out, but that’s all we’ll be doing. Have a wonderful autumn weekend, Judy.
🙂 Wow, what a beautiful and stunning detail!
HAPPY weekend! 🙂
Thanks! Caught this while stretching after one of my morning walks in the park.

Halloween is not a holiday I celebrate; love the interesting complexity of your response to the photo challenge.
Glad you like the photo, Charlie. How’s the weather up your way?

I love all of the shades of red in this photo. It could be a closeup of an evil robot’s eye…
Ω
Hopefully my van never morphs into an evil robot, Allan. 🙂 This is our second Sienna and so far, no evil in sight, thankfully.

Yes, do stay safe, Janet! A creative take on the theme. Here in Holland, Halloween is not a big thing.
Marion, when our girls were little, they dressed up and one of us went out with them while the other stayed home to give out candy. I’d enjoy it more if I could make something relatively good to share. We don’t decorate or anything, though.
No tailgating! Amazing image.
I have no candy yet.
Our Target has plenty. Glad you liked the image.

I had to scroll down to read the comments to confirm it was a car! Very clever Janet. This weeks challenge has me stumped so I may have to take a pass at it unless I become suddenly inspired to write something!
Nicole, you go many places where “Be careful” would be appropriate that I imagine you could find something. When I read the challenge this morning while doing errands, I was stumped as well, having no photos of poisonous critters, etc. My first thought was a photo of our girls when they were little and how no matter how old they are, when they left, we always said, “Be careful.” 🙂
I love this Janet! I did come up with a theme. Check it out! 🙂
I thought you would, Nicole. Heading over right now.

Halloween is just starting to take off here in New Zealand, but it is isn’t really doing too well. I think parents are being careful about sending children out trick or treating.
From what I’ve read, real instance of razor blades, etc. in candy are very few and far between. They did change the whole complexion of the “holiday”, however.

That belongs on a book or album cover! Wow….if Stephen King ever writes another scary car book like Christine or Buick 8…you’re his gal. It looks almost liquid…I LOVE that!
Thanks very much, Rhonda. Be sure to drop Stephen a line and let him know the photo’s available. 🙂

Oh trust me…I know where that crazy fella lives!!! 😉 (gee, I sound like the crazy one haha)
I’m sure any number of people do. Just give him my contact info. 🙂
Will do 🙂
Have a great weekend!
You as well.

I’ve long been fascinating by the intricate beauty of a tail-light. No I’m not joking – honestly. There’s such workmanship (or machine-ship) gone into them. Gone are the days when you used to change the bulb in a headlight. 😉 Hope you’re having a good weekend, I’m late to the party this week.
Sandra, I agree all around. We just saw a blurb last night about Aston Martin. The factory was not only immaculate but gorgeous and each piece of the car was beautiful.
The weekend has been good so far. Fall weather has definitely arrived. After church and lunch, the plan is to go to the Arboretum for a nice long walk. Hope you’re enjoying your weekend as well.

Lovely colour. So alive.
Only alive in a Stephen King horror story, I hope…but I know what you mean. Thanks. 🙂
