“Treat” is the theme for the Weekly Photo Challenge. I love freshly picked raspberries sitting on the counter of a French country kitchen, waiting to be eaten out of hand or in creamy yogurt. Definitely a treat, as was being in France!

Beautiful light in this image, and yummy berries to boot!

Thanks, Allan. I appreciate that, as light was one of the things I was trying to catch. The raspberries were the other. 🙂
janet
Good job with both.

I love raspberries, nice photo!
Thanks. Being able to pick them just outside (what the dogs didn’t get first) was such a treat.

Nice shot, Janet. Love the light and color.
Thanks very much, Cathy. I appreciate that.

Lovely – they look so tempting especially with winter coming!
I know what you mean. The store stills have raspberries and although they’re not as fresh and delicious as these, they’re quite nice. The farmer’s market is at the very end of raspberry season, so they’ve become rather pricey. But we enjoyed them all summer.

Mmmmmmm!
Yum!!! They seem to glow!
Great photo. They look so delicious!
lovely…and a beautiful sheep too
I love the composition and those berries, bursting with color – and flavor too, I assume!
Julie, they were full of flavor. Beautiful to taste as well as see. Have a great weekend.

Lovely – great light and those berries…thanks for sharing 🙂 It was a ‘treat’!
Thanks for dropping by. It’s always a pleasure.

oh, I love raspberries, that’s a perfect example for this challenge!
Thanks very much. There are so many possible posts for this challenge, but I liked the photo, too, so I went with it. 🙂 Glad you liked it, too.

I love raspberries and was lucky enough to be able to freeze quite a few. When I pull out a handful, it certainly is a treat. Nice shot. 🙂
Judy, I froze some, too. But while the fresh ones were at the market, I got some every Saturday morning. One of the grocery stores has a half pint or whatever that small plastic box is for $.77 this week, so you know what I’ll be having on my homemade granola all week!
janet
Love the photo. I use fresh raspberries on granola too with a dollop of keifer over it. Yummy.
Beautiful photo Janet. And a treat (or two) indeed. Su.
Thanks, Su. A treat to be in France, a treat to have fresh raspberries (and delicious yogurt), and a treat to be with family.

Yes; a constellation of small pleasures, made sweeter when it is shared with family.

A lovely display. The colours of the image work so well.
And it looks yummy too.
Thanks very much, Regina. The berries were yummy, as was the trip.

This is do well photographed that I now want to eat freshly plucked raspberries from the garden. Unfortunately it is end of October…. I can smell and taste them almost, just by looking at the picture. Hmmmmmjom
A nice composition, Janet, I love the colors!
Thank you, Marion.
Gorgeous photo Janet and the berries look amazingly fresh.
Nothing quite like berries straight from the bush. 🙂
Raspberries my favorite
Mine, too, although I love strawberries and blueberries as well.

Sometimes the simple things are the absolute best! Lovely shot.
And oh, so tasty. 🙂
janet
Delicious!
