As I posted a photo from France for yesterday’s photo challenge, “Treat,” I thought I’d post another, perfect for a relaxing Saturday morning. Whether you’re in France or not, I hope today is that start of a wonderful weekend and some time for relaxing and refreshing.

This is a wonderful image, Janet. So evocative. Have a lovely weekend.
Thanks so much, Tish. You have a wonderful weekend as well. I just got back from the farmer’s market and library, two of my favorite things, without getting soaked by the steady rain, another good thing. I’m ready to make some applesauce and relax a bit. After all, it’s Saturday. And in not too long, the rugby World Cup finals are on. Life is good. 🙂

Gorgeous shot, Janet!
Have a lovely weekend.
Thanks, Lucile, and you have a great weekend as well. Guess I should really tag this for Photo Rehab as well. I’m getting a bit behind. 🙂
Beautiful…
Thanks, Connie. It was a beautiful morning.

So pretty, Janet! The perfect weekend photograph. The red and purple really pops against the white cup and tablecloth. I now have a strong hankering for a cup of tea.
Cheers!
Theadora
(What did you purchase at the farmer’s market?!)
Theadora, I’m working two days a week at a tea shop now, SereneTeaz in Wheaton, Illinois. 🙂 (Old photo, though, and I’m not in it.) Today was the last day of the official farmer’s market, although some vendors will e there for the next two Saturdays. Today I bought half a bushel of apples for applesauce (or apple something), two kohlrabi (for the first time and because they look like aliens), red onions, six of the best apple cider cake doughnuts ever, and 4 pounds of local honey. I was hoping for another round of fabulous bell peppers, but the people I’ve been buying from weren’t there. Just finished with one batch of applesauce, which I make in the pressure cooker.
Tea is one of the most therapeutic human activities…
So beautiful. Very evocative.
😘. Thanks very much, Raewyn.

Great job setting up this still life. Nice design with the different objects and the painting on the cup pointing down to the flower and the flower pulling the eye into the cup.
Wow. Even looks like you knew what you were doing.
Phyllis
🙂 Just goes to show you never know, Phyllis.

Cute. ;0)
Lovely serene shot Janet. Su
It was that sort of moment, Su. Thanks for sharing it.
That lavender makes it an extra treat. Happy November
Same to you. I love lavender, so when they lived in Provence, it was great. They live much farther north now, but have planted their own lavender.
